General Rules and Policy
GATHER BLAST POLICY
A valid credit or debit card is required to book an event or party. A Non-Refundable 50% deposit is to be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance will need to be paid in full 24 hours before the date of the scheduled event or party.
If a conflict should arise and a change of date and/or time needs to be made accommodations will be considered based on availability at no charge. we must be notified 2 weeks prior to your event if you need to reschedule. You have to reschedule within three (3) months of the original event date and only once. If cancellation is the only option ~ this will incur a non-refundable cancellation fee equal to the full amount of the event.
Our primary service area is a 20-mile radius of the boarder between Lancaster/Palmdale California – Zip code 93551. We also service a “secondary” area outside our primary area but must add a fuel surcharge fee when we travel to the secondary area. See our Service Area page for coverage areas.
The Gather Blast VR Game Trailer was designed for all types of weather conditions. The theater is insulated and climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. There may be occasions when the weather does not want to cooperate with your scheduled party. In the event of severe weather (lightning, very high winds, flooding and/or extremely heavy rains) we may (and reserve the right to) reschedule your service to guarantee the safety of you, your guests, our staff, and equipment. If the threat of these storms threatens your party and you are aware in advance (pending or anticipated major storm or other strong weather events) please contact us to begin the rescheduling.
Gather Blast does require a parent or responsible adult to be present inside our game theater for parties with guests under age 7, and just outside of the trailer at all times for older children. Guests under the age of 16 require a parent or guardian be on property and within contact of the game coach should a need to contact them arise.
You may serve alcohol at your event or party; however, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or cut short any party or booking when the event or party deems itself unsafe for staff and game coaches. Drugs of any sort will not be tolerated in or around the Gather Blast Gaming equipment. Any observed use of illegal narcotics or legal narcotics used in an illegal manner will result in the termination of the party immediately.
Neither Gather Blast nor any of its employees shall be responsible for any damage to property resulting from a request by the client to position the theater in a specific location. This includes both above ground and below ground property/equipment damage. Additionally, Gather Blast reserves the right to charge the client’s credit card for damages to the trailer or equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage of same by clients guests. Neither Gather Blast nor its employees assume any responsibility for any injuries sustained on the clients property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries is the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.
Gather Blast does not allow any food or drinks into the video game theater. Please have your guests consume them outside of the trailer prior to entering.
The Game Coach is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for good service is a great idea, but not required.
When the truck pulls up, we will try to park in the most level & flat area or logical spot to accommodate your party. Sometimes, we park in your neighborhood street, so you might want to let your neighbors know (in case they may object). We might also have to block a driveway. WE WILL NOT BACK INTO DRIVEWAYS **Please keep in mind that our Game Coach will not park anywhere that may cause a danger to persons, property or equipment. Our truck and trailer combination is VERY LONG and we will need a MINIMUM of 55 feet of space to park. Additionally, our Game Coach will never disconnect the truck from the trailer at a party/event without prior approval nor park off of a hardened surface.
VIDEO GAME RATINGS:
Gather Blast will not play any “M” rated or higher game in the video game theater without authorization from the client prior to the party/event or adult approval at the time of the event. If you wish to have an “M” rated game or higher at your party/event please contact us, indicating the game you prefer or let the Game Coach know as soon as you can after he gets there.
COVID 19 POLICY AND PROCEDURES
Employees will have temperature taken, masks will be provided to employee and screening questions will be asked.
– Do you have a fever
– Do you have a cough, has it worsened
– Shortness of breath
– Muscle aches
– Sore throat
Sanitization of equipment will be done prior to any event.
What can the customer expect to do?
Guests list will be maximized at 10 members per event
Each guest will be required to wear a mask.
If sick will not be allowed inside game truck or to participate in laser tag/foam.
We may ask screening questions before entering game truck/laser tag/foam machines
Must use hand sanitizer when entering the trailer/before using laser tag equipment
If play area is left, you must re-sanitize your hands
When player wishes to switch game we will sanitize new controller before using.
Laser tag equipment will be sanitized between games when new players will be added and if needed any other time between games.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT A GATHER BLAST REPRESENTATIVE WILL CONTACT YOU SHORTLY TO CONFIRM THE DATE AND DETAILS OF YOUR PARTY OR EVENT. A NON-REFUNDABLE 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED UPON CONFIRMATION OF YOUR RESERVATION. REMAINING FEES WILL NEED TO BE PAID IN FULL 24 HOURS BEFORE THE DAY OF YOUR PARTY OR EVENT.
